Melissa Wrobel is the founder and owner of Wrobel Massage Therapy and has been helping clients improve their health and quality of life since 1997. Through nearly three decades of clinical experience — combined with her own experiences with injury, recovery, and rehabilitation — Melissa understands how important it is to feel heard, supported, and confident in your care.
Meet Melissa's team ↓Melissa Wrobel has always believed that healthcare is about more than treating symptoms — it is about understanding the person behind them.
After nearly three decades as a Registered Massage Therapist, Melissa has developed a deep appreciation for the connection between the body, movement, lifestyle, and overall well-being. Her own experiences with injury and recovery have shaped the way she approaches care: listening carefully, looking beyond the obvious, and helping people understand their bodies.
Throughout her career, Melissa has continued to expand her knowledge through advanced education and hands-on experience. She has worked with clients from all walks of life, taught future massage therapists, mentored practitioners, and built a clinic centered around compassionate, evidence-informed care.
What started as one therapist’s passion for helping people has grown into a collaborative team of professionals who share the same commitment: making every client feel heard, supported, and cared for.
Melissa’s commitment to wellness extends far beyond individual treatments.
Since opening Wrobel Massage Therapy, she has focused on creating more than just a place to receive therapy — she has built a space where people feel welcomed, connected, and part of a community.
Over the years, Melissa has supported local initiatives, collaborated with other small businesses, welcomed local artists into the clinic, and created opportunities for her team to grow while providing exceptional care to the community.
She believes a clinic is measured not only by the treatments provided, but by the relationships built along the way. Every client, every team member, and every community connection has helped shape what Wrobel Massage Therapy is today.
Melissa believes a wellness clinic should be more than a place people visit when they are hurting — it should be a place where people feel connected, supported, and inspired to take care of themselves.
The goal has always remained the same: to create a place where people feel valued, understood, and confident that they are in good hands.
Since beginning her career as a Registered Massage Therapist in 1997, Melissa has continued to expand her clinical knowledge through hands-on experience, advanced education, teaching, and mentorship.
Since 1997, Melissa has worked with clients experiencing a wide range of injuries, conditions, and wellness goals, developing a deep understanding of the human body and the importance of individualized care.
After owning a successful massage therapy practice in Sarnia, Melissa opened Wrobel Massage Therapy in Kingsville in 2005, creating a collaborative clinic where practitioners could grow and clients could receive exceptional care. Today, Wrobel Massage Therapy has grown into a collaborative wellness clinic with a team of practitioners who share the same commitment to compassionate, professional care.
Melissa has shared her knowledge as an instructor in the Massage Therapy Program at Lambton College and continues to pursue advanced education, including Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University.
Her continued education includes Medical Acupuncture, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Myofascial Release, and advanced cervical and thoracic techniques.
Melissa is a proud member of the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario (RMTAO) and serves as a regional distributor for Gecko Massage products.
"When I opened Wrobel Massage Therapy, my goal was never just to create a place where people received treatments. I wanted to create a clinic where people felt welcomed, listened to, and cared for."
Outside of the clinic, Melissa enjoys supporting community initiatives, collaborating with local businesses, and continually finding new ways to enhance the client experience at Wrobel Massage Therapy.
Melissa didn’t originally plan on becoming a massage therapist, but what started as an unexpected career path became a profession she has loved for nearly three decades.
There is nothing she would rather do than be a massage therapist. It has been a deeply rewarding and satisfying career, and one that continues to shape the way she cares for her clients, her team, and her community every day.
Melissa's hand-selected team of Registered Massage Therapists are ready to support your wellness journey.
