An integrated technique offered within your Massage Therapy session at Wrobel Massage Therapy
Myofascial Release is a hands-on technique that uses slow, sustained pressure to help ease tension within the fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds muscles throughout the body. Rather than a separate stand-alone service, Myofascial Release is incorporated directly into your Massage Therapy treatment, allowing your therapist to address areas of restriction as part of your overall session.
Your therapist will assess your areas of tension and incorporate Myofascial Release techniques into your Massage Therapy treatment as needed. Sessions are gentle and unhurried — your therapist applies slow, sustained pressure and checks in with you throughout to make sure everything stays within your comfort level.
Many clients ask their therapist to incorporate Myofascial Release to help support:
Myofascial release should not be painful. Your therapist works within your comfort level using slow, sustained pressure.
Your therapist will assess your areas of tension and incorporate techniques into your Massage Therapy treatment.
If performed by an RMT, it may be eligible under Massage Therapy benefits.
