Founded by Melissa Wrobel, who has nearly 30 years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist, Wrobel Massage Therapy has proudly served Kingsville and Essex County for over than 20 years. Our experienced team will assess your concerns and use the massage therapy techniques best suited to help you achieve your treatment goals. Swedish Massage may be used on its own or combined with other therapeutic techniques to help you achieve the best possible results.

Every massage begins with a conversation. Your Registered Massage Therapist will ask about your health history, areas of concern, and what you hope to achieve from your treatment. Whether your goal is pain relief, reducing muscle tension, improving mobility, or simply taking time to relax, your treatment will be tailored to your individual needs.
You'll be given privacy to get comfortable on the massage table and will be properly draped throughout your treatment. Your therapist will check in with you about pressure and your comfort level, making adjustments as needed. After your massage, depending on your treatment goals, your therapist may also recommend stretches, home exercises, or self-care tips to help you continue feeling your best between appointments.
Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Massage are both techniques used in Registered Massage Therapy, but they have different purposes.
Swedish Massage uses long, flowing strokes and moderate pressure to help reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. It is a great choice for general muscle soreness, stress relief, and overall wellness.
Deep Tissue Massage uses slower, more focused techniques to work into deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It may be recommended for chronic muscle tension, areas of tightness, or certain injuries.
Not sure what to book? You don't have to choose between Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, or any other technique. Your Registered Massage Therapist will assess your needs and use the techniques that are most appropriate for your treatment.
Yes. When performed by one of our Registered Massage Therapists, Swedish Massage is part of your Registered Massage Therapy treatment and is covered under most extended health benefit plans. We offer Direct Billing to most major insurance providers whenever possible.
One thing many people don't realize is that Swedish Massage isn't a separate appointment at our clinic—it's one of the techniques your Registered Massage Therapist may use during your treatment. You don't need to worry about choosing the "right" massage. That's our job.
